Campaign Manager, Leakage Delivery - Kidlington (Oxfordshire)

Job Title: Campaign Manager.

Location: Kidlington (Oxfordshire).

Salary: ?30k - ?35k (dependent upon experience) + benefits.

Job Summary

Working with the Senior Management team within RPS along with area line Managers to deliver leakage detection activities in AMP7. Individual will be carrying out both an analytical and strategic support role within the Thames Valley Region of Thames Water. This will involve delivering an effective and efficient leakage detection strategy with both RPS and Thames Water whilst maintaining effective relationships with its key stakeholders at all times.

Key Responsibilities

? Represent RPS during weekly targeting meeting, challenging and discussing targeting options with the client;
? Analyse statistics on previous DMA campaigns to help direct leakage detection staff;
? Work with the leakage detection team leaders to understand the key challenges they face and develop strategies to overcome them;
? Collaborate with client team to improve targeting efficiency;
? Assist with the mentoring of Leakage Reduction analysts.

Role Requirements

? Advanced knowledge of leakage activities and associated techniques;
? Good understanding of clean water networks and hydraulics;
? Analytical mind that can solve problems with limited direction;
? Experience of client facing rolls and developing relationships;
? Open-minded and willing to explore and test new ideas;
? Ability to analyse data from small scale tests to larger implementations;
? Experience and understanding of unaccounted for water/Non revenue water (UFW/NRW);
? There is a need to be self-motivated with a passion for problem solving and making a difference.


? Degree in a relevant subject such as chemical, civil, mechanical or environmental engineering, environmental science, geology or physical geography would be desirable.

Technical Competencies

? Advanced knowledge of leakage detection methods and associated technics;
? Good understanding of real and apparent water loss and NRR;
? DMA operability tests;
? Analytical mind set;
? Client facing experience in previous roles;
? Strong character with drive and determination to get the job done;
? Ability to liaise with senior Management within RPS/Thames Water;
? Good attention to detail;
? Previous knowledge of water utilities corporate systems relating to utility mapping (GIS) Netbase, Aorta and SAP;
? Experience working in a contractor/client environment.
