Health and Safety Advisor

Role: Health and Safety Advisor
Location: UK
Type: Full-time, permanent

We have an exciting opportunity in our RPS's Health and Safety Division for an experienced H&S Advisor. We are looking for individuals with good H&S audit, monitoring and reporting skills with experience in Risk Assessment and H&S Procedures implementation.

It is a full-time position, but we are open to part-time solutions. We also offer both working from office or/and home and provide you with the company car.


- Provide H&S advice and support to employees across the RPS Consulting business
- Risk Assessment and Safe Systems of Work:
o Assist with the review of existing RA/SSW for work in our offices and on client sites
o Assist in writing RA/SSW

- H&S Incident Reporting and Investigation:
o Advise on minor incident investigation and internal reporting
o Lead on RIDDOR investigation and reporting
o Undertake Root Cause analysis

- Audit and Monitoring:
o Undertake office H&S visits and audits
o Undertake H&S visits and audit programme for work undertaken on client sites

- Develop training materials and deliver internal H&S training as required
- Assist with ongoing development, review and implementation of H&S Procedures
- Review Contractors questionnaires as when required
- Support Offices when renovation work is taking place
- Assist with ongoing development, review and implementation of H&S Procedures
- Assist with preparing monthly reports covering elements such as incident data, training status and progress with audits
- Assisting with tenders and bids
- Undertake other H&S related duties as required

Preferred Qualifications:

- Nebosh general Certificate
- Tech IOSH
