The Position:

This is a newly created role within the HR Team in the UK&I Consulting Business at RPS. The Learning & Development Manager will manage the successful delivery, development and assessment of development activities in the Consulting business, partnering with the Group HR team and other regional counterparts to leverage existing content, adapting and updating programs and creating new programs where necessary.

This role would suit a seasoned practitioner wishing to stretch themselves in a unique environment and who is passionate about developing others. We are a small team operating in a fast moving firm so you should be as comfortable rolling up your sleeves as you are developing strategy.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

This is a unique and exciting role, working directly alongside the business in this fast paced, organisation. The successful applicant will report to the HR Director and will have a key role to play in supporting talent development from graduate level up to senior leadership. This role is critical to ensuring we retain and develop our people. As such you will create value for all tiers of the organisation with strategic development programs, Career Pathways and a professional development suite.

You will design, plan, implement and manage a Learning and Development strategy across the business. you will be required to develop a framework that delivers an innovative suite of learning interventions therefore building a culture of continuous improvement, championing high performance and learning and delivery against our business objectives.

Skills & Expertise we need you to have:

- Proven experience working as an L&D Manager within a mid to large multi-site professional Consultancy firms with a clear ability to manage multiple demands adeptly identifying the highest priority and highest impact areas to focus on
- A track record in driving improved engagement in learning and professionalising learning provision
- Demonstrable background in training delivery that works around utilisation targets and customer requirements.
- Demonstrates thought leadership in approaches to Learning & Development particularly around elearning, with an ability to apply theory in a practical way that fits the business requirements.
- Exceptional facilitation and coaching skills with experience of delivering training.
- Strong influencing and relationship management skills with the ability to drive change and collaborate with global HR team and senior stakeholders
- LMS administration and content creation experience
- Able to work at high pace and be resilient to adapt to growing business needs and expanding priorities.
- Must be willing and able to travel across the UK&I as required and hold a valid driving licence
