Asbestos Project Manager

Our Health, Safety and Environmental Division provides consultancy, due diligence and cooperate services to commercial property owners and developers, financial institutions and commercial lenders, managing agents, property managers, industrial clients, local authorities and the wider public sector.

Position: Asbestos Project Manager
Location: Southern region.

Overview of Role:
Commercially focused role, reporting to the Operations Manager. Managing a team of up to 5 consultants. We will also be giving the successful candidate any opportunity to develop their skills by cross training and further external qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day project management and running of all projects/staff in conjunction with senior consultants
- Carry out some asbestos related billable tasks to include surveying and air monitoring.
- Support the Business Development Team with costing works. Carry out sales visits and provide quotations as required.
- Ensuring profit and other KPIs on projects are met.
- Day to day liaison of key clients and dealing with queries and complaints
- Responsible for technical reviews and delivery of reports to clients
- Mentoring of staff/staff appraisals.
- Staff technical queries
- Assist in further development of operating efficiency of department

Skills/Knowledge Required:
- P402, 3 &4 qualified essential
- P405 qualified is advantageous
- Previous project management experience ? 2-3 years minimum
- Previously worked for consultancies and used to working with multiple clients across a variety of industries
- Commercially focused with proven leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills with a flexible approach
- Used to working to strict deadlines within contractual guidelines
