Delivery Support Co-ordinator

As a Delivery Support Co-ordinator you will work full time from our office in Kirkintilloch.

This role will see you working alongside the Assistant Project Manger to plan, organise and implement several tasks linked with a variety of projects. These tasks are fundamental technically specific pre-cleaning activities required to support the successful and safe delivery of all mains cleaning delivery activities.

Main responsibilities:
• Organise all relevant customer notifications to meet mains cleaning programme dates, seeking approval and relevant License Provider Notifications where applicable
• Receive mains cleaning work packs from Design Team:
o review packs to ensure all necessary documentation is included
o ensure packs are ready for handing to field staff based on mains cleaning programme dates
• Liaise:
o with mains cleaning supervisors to ensure tracker is up to date
o with Scottish Water laboratories to set up sample projects and organise all sample bottles and labels required
o with Programme Team to agree resources and timescales for carrying out surveys based on site survey programme requirements and upload relevant data
o with Technical Support Team to ensure loggers are organised and programmed for handover to field teams as per mains cleaning programme
• Compile:
o and print customer information letters for trunk mains conditioning works and pass to field staff to deliver prior to starting work on site
o and issue daily whereabouts for all mains cleaning delivery work to all necessary stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timely issue
• Ensure:
o all field data from previous night/days’ work is available for reporting
o tracker is kept up-to-date for all activities
• Check all assets on private land in mains cleaning designs have owner contact details, if not arrange with supervisors/field teams to visit locations via Delivery Manager
• Upload all mains conditioning assets/locations to systems, two weeks prior to start on site date
• Maintain equipment tracker for all high value mains cleaning equipment
• Carryout checks for vulnerable/sensitive customers, violence register, mobile signal coverage

Skills, experience and qualifications required:
• Prior experience within an office administration/coordination and or laboratory-based environment in a sample preparation role
• Proven track record of planning / organising / delivering multiple tasks to strict timescales
• Ability to work in a fast-paced rapidly changing operational environment
• Excellent people and communication skills
• Competent in the use of the complete Microsoft package
