GC Analyst

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced GC Analyst to join our ISO17025 Accredited Laboratory.

This is an important role within the Laboratory, working with other Analysts and Extraction Chemists to ensure projects are delivered on-time. You will manage your own workload, from sample extraction to data analysis and reporting of results. You will be responsible for helping to develop and mentor Extraction Chemists and other new starters. You will be working on a wide range of environmental contaminants in a variety of different samples types, often at very challenging levels, so technical knowledge is as important as practical experience.

If you are a GC Analyst with experience in working in the environmental sector, we would love to hear from you. Experience of analysing Volatile Organic Compounds and/or contaminants in marine sediments by GC-MS would be a significant advantage.

In return, we can offer a very competitive package, as well as the opportunity to join our talented, enthusiastic team in a brand new, purpose-built facility using state-of-the art analytical equipment. You will also have opportunities for development in this role, in line with business requirements.
