Position: Health, Safety & Fire Consultant
Based: North West/West London
Type: Full Time, Permanent

About the Role:

RPS are looking for an experienced consultant to join or UK wide Health, Safety and Risk Team. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with some of our key clients, working in and around London and the South, predominately North and West London.

Key Responsibilities will be:

• Preparation of fire risk assessments and health and safety risk assessments in accordance with legislative requirements.
• Be able to give sound fire safety advice and able to prepare fire strategy reports for clients.
• Preparation of gap analysis reports and subsequent development of health and safety and fire safety management systems.
• Delivery of fire awareness /fire marshal and a variety of in-house health & safety training courses.
• Development of emergency plans and evacuation plans (including specific tenant plans)
• Keep up to date with current legislation and advise clients on compliance accordingly.
• Identify and define solutions to fire, health and safety related problems.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
 Relevant qualifications in H&S, (Diploma Level).
 Grad IOSH or equivalent.
 Recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification.
 Working towards being on the IFE’s Fire Consultants’ Register
 Used to conducting fire risk assessments and health and safety assessments.
 Strong technical knowledge in fire safety and health & safety.
 Trainer
 Flexible for UK travel.
