Position: Business Development - H&S Consultancy
Location: Nationwide
Type: Full Time, Permanent

About the Role:
RPS are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of our Health & Safety Compliance Team. The successful candidate could work from any RPS office or could be home based.

Main Responsibilities:
• Selling our Health and Safety, Fire, Legionella and Asbestos consultancy services to a variety of clients in both the commercial and public sector.
• Identify cross sell opportunities for other areas of RPS e.g. Occupational Health
• Following up new business opportunities and identifying new leads.
• Setting and attending of sales appointments.
• Management of key accounts.
• Preparing and delivering presentations.
• The production of high-quality tenders, RFI’s and proposals.
• Negotiating terms and conditions.
• Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.

Minimum requirements:
• Experience of working for a Health & Safety consultancy.
• Ability to demonstrate significant year on year new sales wins. A good understanding of the services being sold.
• A comfortable communicator.
• Creative thinker to spot new opportunities.
