Up to £45,000 + Car/Allowance + Excellent Benefits

Are you a well organised Architect, Architectural Technologist or perhaps a Design Manager looking for a new challenge...? Does stakeholder management, dealing with clients in a fast-paced environment delivering high value projects appeal…? Would you like the chance to work with high profile London design agencies creating solutions for leading retail brand names with the opportunity to progress to Senior Associate…? If so, this is the perfect role for you!

About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Retail Team in Wolverhampton as an Architectural Project Manager. Reporting to the Technical Director, this unique role is diverse as in addition to the creative design and Construction Management element you will manage the tender production and appointments process, obtain quotations for Consultancy services and negotiate with sub-contractors. The role also requires you to attend client and design agency meetings on site and to manage a team under the guidance of the Technical Director. Working on multiple high profile projects ranging from £500K - £12million using Revit and AutoCAD, this role will provide the right individual with an opportunity to help grow our team.

About You
Suitable candidates may be working in a Consultancy, housebuilder, main contractor or Architectural practice and will ideally have BA or BSc in Architectural Technology or Architecture but HNC in Building Studies is acceptable too - we can develop your skills further. Some experience gained within a retail environment is preferred along with the ability to project manage so you can manage stakeholders at all levels and successfully coordinate all project elements from conception to completion. You need to be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD and project and construction management skills are ideal but not essential as is resource and procurement management. This is a fast paced, goal orientated environment so suitable candidates must be well organised and able to multitask. Confidence is also required to manage relationships. Plenty of initiative and a flexible approach will also help you to develop your role.
