RPS is looking for an experienced in-house recruitment leader to drive change and enhance the talent acquisition process both internally and externally during this exciting time of transformation for the Group.

This is a brand-new role as Head of Recruitment reporting to the HR Director of UK Shared Services. You will be leading an established and knowledgeable team of 5 Recruiters (based predominately in Woking, Surrey) and working with key stakeholders across our diverse multidisciplinary consultancy business around the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 5 by inspiring, developing, mentoring and coaching team members, setting and reviewing objectives and enhancing performance.
• Design and lead recruitment strategy to build a funnel of high calibre talent ensuring all businesses can attract new staff in line with business objectives.
• Streamline and align our recruitment processes to create a unique candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Ensure the RPS story is communicated and understood with our preferred suppliers they are our true advocates and potential new hires get hooked early on.
• Train hiring managers and build their capability to ensure quality hiring decisions are achieved. Set the tone for our new hiring culture.
• Embed our direct sourcing model across the group and introduce or develop methodology in line with new technology and/or trends.
• Build our recruitment capabilities: ATS design, implementation and workflow management, channel optimisation for high inbound, utilisation social media tools, hiring forecastings and events our teams should go to solve hiring challenges.
• Design, develop and implement tools, processes and programmes to support proactive and targeted talent acquisition strategies. Continue to improve recruitment processes as our business changes and grows and manage our channel strategy to drive wide candidate pools.
• Provide as required hands-on recruitment support by managing senior vacancies across the group at any one time.
• Ensure our recruitment practices are implemented in line with both company policies and local employment legislation.
• Provide reports and metrics and provide presentations to senior management as and when required.
• Work with the Reward team to provide market intelligence gained on total reward packages on offer, being attune to market movement.
• Work inter-changeably with the HRBPs and HR Shared Service team to ensure hand off points on pre-joining experience to onboarding experience is seamless and professional.
• Work across geography to leverage best practice experience from peers across the RPS network.

Knowledge/Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a leader of an inhouse recruitment / talent acquisition function preferably having worked in a professional services firm.
• Effective people management experience
• Experience in developing and delivering hiring strategies for technically minded people.
• Skilled at training new hiring managers.
• Led graduate recruitment campaigns and built strong relationships with University careers centres.
• Knowledge of developing and implementing recruiting tools, processes and systems with a track record in driving innovative recruitment solutions.
• Commercially astute with the ability to align the talent strategy to the business objectives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with an excellent grasp of customer service as well as the ability to coach and influence senior management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance numerous tasks.

For this role there is scope for flexibility on hours/days worked. The role can be based anywhere in the UK, however, will need frequent travel into the Woking office.
