Business Application & Skills Support Lead

RPS is going through an exciting period of transformation globally, our technology team in Abingdon are looking for an experienced Business Application & Skills Support Lead to join the expanding team.

As the Business Application & Skills Support Lead you will be responsible for the management and delivery of support and configuration of Templafy and other new business applications. You will complete UK wide travel to conducting digital and classroom-based training to all RPS employees.

Main responsibilities but not limited to:
• Prepare detailed training plans and conduct training initially covering Templafy and other business applications
• Provide expert advice on layout and styles and set up of templates
• Analysing the delivery of programs and identifying improvements and successes
• Development:
o of the super user community skills and knowledge, as a first port of call in supporting new business solutions
o of user education and communication programs for key technologies and products
o and then maintenance of the change control, incident and problem management processes for business solutions
o of knowledge articles and share with 1st and 2nd line support to ensure most incidents are resolved at these levels
• Troubleshooting and preparation of workaround solutions during developer fixes and upgrades
• Management of the Technology Services end-user SharePoint site and other media used by Technology Services
• Respond to user queries post launch and managing the resolution of incidents

Skills, qualifications and experience required:
• Experience of
o developing and delivering training via digital and class-based methods
o Template Management Systems (Templafy, Tikit TMS, HotDocs) both for support and development
o using Office 365 and other business applications
• Advanced Word and PowerPoint skills with knowledge of:
o working within brand styles and guidelines
o formatting and re-branding documents
o use, edit and import of predetermined styles
o understanding of section breaks and their effect on headers/footers
o manipulation of image placement on the page
o creating/editing master slides
• Team leadership and influencing skills for key stakeholders
• Process development and organisational skills
• Good level of technology-related education and experience relevant to this role
• Degree in a business-related subject
