Senior Administrator
Bristol


An excellent opportunity has arisen for a professional Senior Administrator/PA to work for an established and growing professional services company in our Bristol office. RPS office in Bristol includes professionals that provide advice on environmental, engineering and transportation to clients in a wide range of sectors which keeps our workloads interesting and no day is ever the same.

You will be part of a vibrant team managing the work generated by the Manging Director and local management team and offering support as required. This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a 'can do’ working style.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional administrative support to individuals and teams, proactively engaging to achieve a high level of support
• Secretarial support to the Managing Director including diary management, arranging meetings, minute taking/preparing minutes, chasing actions
• Business data collation and collating and editing reports and documents for the Managing Director
• Assist Managing Director with the completion of expenses and timesheets
• Supporting the team with collating information for bids and tenders and assisting with document preparation.
• Assisting with internal and external quality management and health and safety audits.
• Welcoming office guests and preparing meeting rooms and office events
• Coordinating training events and assisting with staff training management
• Line management of other team administrators including resource management

Essential Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Extensive experience of providing high quality administrative support in demanding and pressurised environments
• Ability to plan and be well organised including at diary management
• Fully conversant to an advanced level in the Microsoft Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
• Ability to demonstrate discretion at all time, handling information in a confidential manner
• Professional Services / Consultancy / Engineering background is desirable
• Demonstrates the ability to prioritise workload, balancing the needs of staff and clients.
• Anticipates demand for work to ensure that deadlines are met.
