Laboratory Analyst

We are looking for an Laboratory Analyst to join and support our highly respected and knowledgeable team of chemists. This is a great chance to work with a talented team of experts in a friendly, supportive and innovative environment.

Type: Full Time
Duration: Permanent
Location: Salford (M5)

Key Responsibilities:

• Organising workload to ensure samples are reported in agreed timescales
• Preparation of air samples using a variety of extraction techniques.
• Analysis of samples by ICP and HPLC ensuring all quality requirements are met, in line with laboratory procedures
• Process and interpretation of analytical results
• Maintain equipment and carry out basic trouble shooting
• Ensure laboratory records are kept accurate and up to date
• Maintain stock levels


• BSc in Science or equivalent
• Experience of working within a laboratory environment
• Experience of sample preparation and use analytical instrumentation.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting skills
• Used to working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
