Finance Administration Manager
Nottingham


RPS Occupational Health is a leading provider of OH services, delivering extensive services to over 600 clients throughout the UK and Ireland since 1996. RPS OH have four main offices located in London, Mansfield, Ellesmere Port & Warrington, with a wider network of remotely based technical personnel throughout the UK and Ireland.

As the Finance Administration Manager, you will report directly into the OH Divisional Director, based from Mansfield on a full-time basis. You will have two direct reports, as part of this role travel to the other main offices will be required on a sporadic basis.

This role will see you managing and maintaining the financial systems for the complete Occupational Health Division. You will be the central point of communication between OH and head office finance.

Main Responsibilities
• Completion of internal and external sales invoicing, alongside maintenance of sales invoicing records
• Review of monthly management accounts and forecasting
• Liaising with Credit Control to ensure debtor queries are actioned
• Ensuring purchasing procedures are followed, purchase invoices are authorised and submitted for payment
• Maintain petty cash and ensure returns are sent to Accounts and cheques cashed
• Cost control to ensure good value is achieved
• Preparation of capital expenditure requests
• Supervise collation and processing of timesheets, expenses, absence forms and maintenance of holiday records
• Ensure that projects are set-up on internal system
• Provide payroll amendment information to our central HR/Payroll team
• Develop processes and procedures for new large client accounts that take into consideration both commercial and operational requirements
As and when required:
• Provide head office with financial/ad hoc information
• Provide detailed accounts information for managers and sales team

Skills, experience and qualifications required:
• Prior experience in an office-based environment, with a focus on managing accounts payable/receivable
• To understand forecasting, variance analysis and payroll
• Strong leadership, negotiation and organisational skills
• Competent user of the complete Microsoft package
• Methodical, numerate with high attention to detail and able to work to work to strict deadlines
