About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Director to join our Civil, Ports & Harbours Team. This is a strategic role supporting the RPS Maritime Director in assisting in the expansion of a team of port infrastructure specialists to deliver growth to our business throughout the UK. You will be responsible for taking a leading role in the successful delivery of significant port and harbour projects and supervising a team of Engineers in the design and delivery of a range of maritime and civil structures. This is an opportunity to take the lead in client management and project delivery and assist the Director in the general administration of the Team and managing the workload utilisation associated with project delivery.

About You
Suitable candidates will possess a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have achieved Chartered Engineer status with ICE, IEI, IStructE or equivalent. You will have extensive experience in the Design, Contract Management and Delivery of significant port and other maritime projects with a substantial client interface. Understanding delivery on time will be second nature to you and you need to be experienced enough to foresee problems before they arise. You will enjoy face to face client engagement and be comfortable in a role that encourages team management and guidance as well as project management.
