RPS is currently recruiting several Senior Engineers Water services teams for roles based in the Dublin, Cork and Galway areas. The roles will be site/field based working on a major National Programme.

The successful candidates will be required to have a strong knowledge and experience of water conservation and leakage reduction including one or all of the following pressure management, find and fix and leakage reporting.

The role involves inter alia:
• Collating, reviewing and analysing data on existing above ground assets (water/wastewater treatment plants).
• Responsible for management & monthly production reports.
• Working with teams to gather all data relating to leakage savings & spend

Key Requirements:

• Relevant third level degree qualification preferably in Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years post qualification experience in water conservation/leakage control/non-revenue water.
• Experience working within programmes, working to deadlines, progress reporting and using MS project.
• Strong knowledge of operation and maintenance in the water services sector.
• Experience in reviewing asset data and developing appropriate solutions.
• Experience in pricing proposed designs for previous business plans / regulatory submissions.
• Ability to:
o Prioritise tasks, work with schedules and manage resources while remaining focused on team goals.
o Secure and compare information from multiple sources to identify issues; committing to an action after weighing alternative solutions against decision criteria.
o Set high standards, by encouraging others to assume responsibility and accountability for tasks.
o Manage issues within the team and act as a point of escalation.
o Excellent excel skills.
