About the Role
RPS have a great career opportunities for a Senior Resident Engineer to be part of our water services team in Galway. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the supervision and associated administration of all the construction works in the proposed water related projects within multidisciplinary environments.

What you will need to apply
• Hold an honours degree (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications, or equivalent professional qualification, in engineering.
• Have at least 10 years’ post graduate relevant experience with at least 7 years’ relevant experience on site, supervising Civil Engineering Works on water related projects.
• A Minimum of 5 years’ experience on site in the delivery of Major Capital Infrastructure Schemes on water related projects.
• Experience administering contracts using both the Public Works, Irish Water MWCE & FIDIC Contracts.
• Extensive experience in pipeline design and construction, rehabilitation and testing, trenchless technology, reinforced concrete design and construction (water retaining structures)
• A good knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to allow you to work effectively and engage with clients for project delivery.
• Possess the ability to lead and motivate, take ownership of issues and seek team participation to achieve best solutions
• Strong teamwork background and ethic.
