Arborist
Southampton


We are looking for an arborist to join our growing Southampton team on a full time basis.

Main Responsibilities:

Undertake and produce BS5837:2012 Tree surveys, Tree survey reports, Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Arboricultural Method Statements;
Undertake arboriculture Clerk of Works duties on development sites;
Assist with data analysis, evaluation, report writing and project research;
Undertake hazard assessment surveys based on ISA hazard evaluation methodology.


Skills and qualifications required:
• Tertiary level qualification in arboriculture or similar discipline
• UK driving license
• Competent user of the complete Microsoft package
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to write clearly, concisely, and to be able to assimilate information into intelligible reports

Desirable Skills:
• GIS and/or AutoCad experience with tree related software
• Knowledge of the UK planning system
• Knowledge of the law relating to trees, its principles
