Divisional Finance Manager
Woking


Position: Divisional Finance Manager
Based: Woking
Hours: Mon-Fri (37.5 hours)


The Role:

You will be assisting in accounting for and monitoring the UK Energy business, as well as participating in development of the UK business’s reporting, control environment and systems. In addition to this will also be supporting accounting for the Operations/Sites businesses and the UK Energy business generally.


Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate accounting records for the Operations/Sites businesses in line with Group policies
• Prepare management accounts and reports, including performance analysis and interpretation for internal Division and Group requirements
• Assisting in planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Dealing with financial aspects of the Consulting
• Assisting in the maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting in maintaining compliance with overseas tax
• Assisting in the preparation of analysis for UK taxation and ad-hoc purposes
• Managing the local invoicing and purchase ledger personnel

The skills/experience you will need are:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Professional and technical skills in accounting and finance, particularly in regard to management accounting
• Sound judgement and a high level of integrity
• An ability to learn and manage new systems quickly
• Good communication skills and adequate personal authority for the role
• A good appreciation of commercial issues is essential to enable the full link between the functional and business aspects of the role
• To be able to multi task and balance the requirements of being part of the business team with those of the broader finance function in the Division and Group
