About the Role
We are looking to appoint a Pre-Contract Measurement Surveyor / Manager to join the team in our Birmingham office working on UK wide projects across various sectors including commercial, residential, education, office, health and transport. You will take responsibility for several specific projects and engage with internal staff and external surveyors to manage the package of work, produce Bills of Quantity and generally ensure everyone is aware of their deliverables and timeframes for delivery. This is a client facing role and you will also deal with contractor queries and all pre-tender issues. This role will suit someone looking for a full time role or alternatively, for the right individual, it could be successfully delivered working 3-4 days per week.

About You
Suitable candidates may be a Measurement Surveyor doing pre-contract works or perhaps you are a Surveyor / Estimator with pre-contract measurement surveying experience or will have a wealth of experience in post contract site surveying perhaps from a Construction Services background. You. As well as experience producing Bills of Quantity, you will also need excellent communication skills and be capable of developing relationships with key stakeholders and clients. Plenty of initiative is required to work autonomously but you should be equally happy working as part of a team alongside other measurement surveyors. Proven skills in MS Excel and Word are essential. Knowledge of Bluebeam measurement/surveying tool advantageous.
