Principal Transport Planner

RPS Transport Specialists have a long-established record of successfully delivering transport and infrastructure solutions in connection with both new and existing developments. Specialising in the delivery of high quality multidisciplinary services, including engineering design, environment and planning for projects across all sectors.

The London Transport Planning team are recruiting for a Principle Planner.

The role will see you being responsible for the management of technical projects including financial management, resourcing and budgetary control. Providing input to travel plans, transport assessments and environmental impact assessments. Alongside providing support to junior team members.

To be successful in this role you will have
• Excellent report writing skills
• Good working knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, TRANSYT, TRICS, TEMPRO
• A degree in engineering, planning, transport planning or Geography
• Commercial acumen and the ability to promote RPS’ services
• Have an understanding of the GLA/TfL process as well as experience with projects in London Boroughs
• Proven track record in meeting clients needed
