Screening Nurse - Northern Ireland

Position: Screening Nurse
Location: Enniskellen
Type: 2 days per week on a permanent basis

Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the service delivery of health surveillance, health screening and health promotion to clients. The work is delivered at client sites & RPS sites

Key Responsibilities
• Perform health surveillance in line with service level agreements and clinical protocols
• Support health promotion and wellbeing programmes
• Maintain accurate and consistent screening records
• Demonstrate commitment to work within agreed time constraints
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical procedures and processes to support continual improvement
• Work flexibly to accommodate business needs on RPS sites & client premises
• Responsible for designated equipment and work environment

• Registered Nurse
• Experienced in all aspects of health surveillance/screening procedures and a willingness to undertake any training for the role
• High degree of self-management, self-motivation and ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Previous occupational health nursing experience is advantageous
