Junior IT Administrator

Junior IT Administrator Belfast Are you an IT Professional or Graduate who enjoys being part of a team working on a wide variety of IT projects..? About the Role We are seeking an IT Administrator to provide helpdesk support working as part of our dynamic team in Belfast. The team supports 250 engineering and technical staff in Belfast as well as providing limited remote support to the larger national infrastructure. The team provides support for Office 365, server, storage and back up issues as well as security and networking problems. The team also deals with the administration of the VOIP phone system. You will be involved in the provision of support for remote users and mobile devices and you will use AutoCAD to provide support for technical users, troubleshooting and resolving problems. Your role will also involve administration of Windows 2008, 2012 and 2016 as well as industry standard IT systems. You will work closely with the team to provide printing and photocopying systems management and DMS support. About You Ideally you will have a relevant 3rd level qualification and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT. Suitable candidates will be a proven team player and be able to demonstrate a high level of technical capability including strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Experience of server storage and back-up technologies, firewalls and networking, administration of VOIP or desktop/peripherals support would be helpful. CCNA and MCP/MCSE in Windows/Windows Server would also be advantageous. You will need excellent communication skills, an outgoing and helpful personality and be capable of building effective relationships. Good attention to detail and an assertive manner are essential as is the ability to work well under pressure. A confident self-starter, you’ll possess the ability to work issues through to completion. A driving licence/access to a car would be beneficial as there may be a requirement to occasionally travel to other offices.
