Senior Associate
Dublin (Ireland)

We are currently recruiting a Senior Associate to work as a key member of our Highways and Transportation team in Dublin.

Key Requirements are:

Degree qualified (Level 8) with a minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience,
Chartered status or equivalent with management experience of medium to large projects,
Significant experience in consultancy services delivery and contract management,
Proven management capability and experience,
Business unit/team leadership experience,
Ability to identify business opportunities, lead tender bids and deliver projects,
Strong track record in delivery of transport projects delivery,
Technical excellence,
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and
Highly motivated.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a sector, business unit or team,
Manage budgets and meet agreed targets,
Develop and maintain good relationships with clients,
Implement best practices and comply with all internal systems,
Provide leadership in setting and implementing design (technical) and quality compliance,
Build and maintain personal, unit and team skills, and
Develop new business.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of design codes, specifications, legislation and best practices,
A thorough understanding of professional appointments, contractual arrangements, procurement and project management,
Excellent people management skills including management of costs, time and WIP,
Understanding of budgets, profit and loss accounts, and management accounts,
Be capable leading a wide engineering/scientific team,
Excellent communications skills,
Good computer skills, and
Experience in project management, contract administration, supervision and monitoring.

The Location:

The successful candidate will be based full-time in our office in Dublin.
