About the Role
We are recruiting an Administration Assistant/Receptionist for our Newcastle Upon Tyne office. This role encompasses meeting and greeting internal and external visitors, answering incoming calls, post duties, preparation of invoices, updates on our finance system (including ensuring time sheets are completed on time), checking and actioning emails and booking travel and accommodation for the team. You will provide scanning/printing support for Engineers and be required to provide cover for other administrative staff when necessary. Additionally, you will be a Fire Marshall. As well as general administrative and reception tasks, this role also provides support to the Lift Team Coordinator. This involves allocating tasks on the system, uploading reports, raising project numbers, and recording and reporting of serious defects. You will also calculate expenses and claim payments for the team processing tasks and monitor testing processes as required including emailing updates to client.

About You
Suitable candidates will have a good administrative background, an indepth knowledge of Word (including the use of tables, styles and mail merge) and Excel (including basic formulas) as well as Outlook and Powerpoint. You can deal with a range of administrative tasks and possess a confident telephone manner as well as being numerate with a good attention to detail. Proven administrative and system skills are essential as well as good time management skills. As well as being highly motivated you will possess good communication skills and plenty of tenacity to ensure all procedures and tasks are progressed to required deadlines.
