About the Role
We are looking for an Administration Assistant to complement the team in our Newcastle Upon Tyne office. A key part of the team, this role encompasses both secretarial and administrative tasks including typing of various documents, reformatting engineering documents, answering calls, ordering stationery, filing, mail merge, checking and actioning emails received into the office, booking travel and accommodation along with maintaining various Quality Assurance procedures and documentation. You will also be required to arrange refreshments and lunches for meetings, maintain tidy meeting rooms and you’ll be responsible for the petty cash return too. Providing cover for Reception and other administrative staff will be necessary as required.

About You
Suitable candidates will have a strong administrative background, an indepth knowledge of Word (including the use of tables, styles and mail merge) and Excel (including basic formulas) as well as Outlook and Powerpoint. You will be confident dealing with a range of tasks both secretarial and administrative as well as being relatively numerate. Proven secretarial and administrative skills are essential as well as good time management skills and excellent attention to detail. As well as being highly motivated you will possess good communication skills and plenty of tenacity to ensure all procedures and tasks are progressed to required deadlines.
