Associate Director - PM

About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Director / Senior Project Manager to join our PM consultancy team in Manchester. This is a ‘hands on’ project delivery role that will also see the successful candidate assisting the Director with team management and ensuring continuity of service levels and business processes. Business development is a vital element of the role, building relationships with existing clients through exceptional service and identifying opportunities with new clients. This is an exciting time to join a growing office working with great clients on schemes up to £70m in value.

About You
Ideally you are a Senior Project Manager or Associate Director with a degree in Project Management or Quantity Surveying and preferably 10+ years’ experience working in a Project Management delivery role on private sector developments. Alternatively you may have started on site and progressed via the vocational route. Suitable candidates will preferably be RICS Chartered or APM qualified. Private commercial development experience working on major projects using the JCT D&B form is essential because you will be delivering schemes on this basis and managing Project Managers delivering the same. As well as excellent communication skills you will need to be well organised and demonstrate good attention to detail. Leadership skills and experience of managing a team will enable you to help manage and grow the team. We view ourselves as a specialist consultancy that provides a quality service to our clients so this role would suit an individual from a similar small consultancy background.
