LOCATION: Donabate and/or Kilcullen/Athlone/Gorey and/or Enniscorthy.
JOB TYPE: Fixed Term Contract

We are currently seeking to recruit a number of Clerks of Works to join our Roads team supervising Roads and Building contracts in the Donabate, Kilculle/Athlone/Gorey and Enniscorthy areas. It is expected that the project will commence in April 2018 with a likely duration of between 12 and 15 months.

The role of the Clerk of Works will be to supervise the construction of Roads and Bridges and Buildings Works. The Clerk of Works will be part of the supervision team, reporting to the Resident Engineer. The role includes for the day to day supervision and monitoring of the construction works.

The Clerks of Works shall:

• Hold a degree in Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification or hold a National Certificate / National Diploma in Construction Studies or Civil Engineering issued by the National Council for Education Awards / Further education training Awards Council or be a member of the institute of clerk of works in Ireland or possess a first class technological certificate (intermediate stage) or a technological certificate (advanced stage) issued by the Department of Education or have had satisfactory experience of the supervision of Roads and Bridges and/or Building construction.

• Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the supervision of large civil engineering projects, including Roads and Bridges and/or Buildings.
